I am excited to announce the addition of two new faculty members who will be joining the Division of General Medicine in early 2020.
Maureen Lyons, M.D. will be joining the Division as Assistant Professor of Medicine beginning January 1, 2020. Dr. Lyons will be joining our faculty as a provider at Washington University Complete Care, attending in the COH Primary Care Clinic and working on curriculum renewal in the Office of Medical School Education. Dr. Lyons has been an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University School of Medicine where she has been an Associate Program Director, Clerkship Director, and Co-Director of the Medical Education Learning Community. She graduated from University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed training at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Jennifer Schmidt, M.D. will be joining the Division as Assistant Professor of Medicine beginning February 1, 2020. Dr. Schmidt will be the Medical Director at Washington University Complete Care. Dr. Schmidt is coming from Saint Louis University School of Medicine where she is Assistant Professor of Medicine and has been Associate Program Director and Section Chief of Ambulatory Internal Medicine. She graduated from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed training at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Drs. Lyons and Schmidt have valuable experience and we look forward to welcoming them to our team in January and February!
